KICK Original theory: Band 1: -6dB at 20Hz, Band 2: +9dB at 100Hz, Band 3: -6dB at 200Hz, Band 4: +9dB at 2kHz, Band 5: -6dB at 16kHz
AF:
- 50-60Hz High-Pass Filter can tighten up the Kick.
- 40-85Hz can add sub-bass, too much in these region will cause boom
- 80-125kHz can add power and weight to the Kick
- 200-400Hz is a good area to cut to reduce that boxy sound
- 450-1kHz can give more punch, but proceed carefully, too much can sound harsh.
- 4-7kHz is good for adding snap to the kick drum
- To get the Kick and Bass Guitar to sit together nicely, cutting at 160Hz, 400Hz, 800Hz and 1.3kHz by a few db each can create some space.)

SNARE Original theory: Band 1: 80Hz high pass, Band 2: +9dB at 200Hz, Band 3: +3dB at 2.5kHz, Band 4: +1dB at 3.5kHz, Band 5: +8dB at 8.0kHz . . . {Pulse, Smack, Wires, Head}
AF:
- Below 150Hz can be cut with HPF
- 150-200 Hz can add weight to the snare
- 400-500Hz can be cut, to reduce some of the Waffle
- 850-1.5 kHz can add the sound of the Rim, but too much boosting will cause a tinny sound
- 1.75- 2.5 kHz can add some crack to the Snare
- 3-5 kHz can really make the underside snares shine, yet too much can add a tubby characteristic
- A little extra 10kHz can brighten up the snare and give it that extra little shine

TOMS  AF:
- Below 150Hz can be rolled off to stop your toms and kick fighting
- 130-200Hz will add weight to your floor tom, be careful, too much here can make it a bit boomy
- 180-250Hz will add weight to your middle tom, again this can make it boomy, so take care
- 260-350Hz will add weight to your high tom
- 300-800Hz can be cut, as there isn’t much going on for the toms here, freeing up some room for other instruments
- 2-3kHz will add some slap to your floor tom
- 3-4 kHz will add some slap to your middle tom
- 4-5 kHz will add some slap to your high tom

- 40 Hz high pass
- 70Hz + 9
- 100 Hz at -6dB
- 200Hz-400Hz flat or find a drop
- 400Hz +3
- 1KHz-2Hz at -3dB
- 3KHz at +6-+9dB
- 8KHz at 0dB
